Effective Date: May 28, 2026
This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, no-shows, weather interruptions, and booking changes are handled for Englewood Jet Ski rentals, guided rides, and tours.
By booking with Englewood Jet Ski, you agree to this Cancellation Policy, the Safety Policy, the Boater Requirements, and any booking terms shown at the time of reservation.
1. Standard Cancellation Window
Guests may cancel or reschedule a reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time without a cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time may receive a refund to the original payment method or a booking credit.
- Rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time are subject to availability.
- Price differences may apply when moving to a different rental, tour, date, time, or package.
2. Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are considered late cancellations.
- Late cancellations may be charged up to the full reservation amount.
- Late cancellation fees apply because reserved jet skis, staff, guides, launch times, and booking capacity are held for the guest.
- Englewood Jet Ski may offer a booking credit or reschedule option at its discretion, depending on availability and the reason for cancellation.
3. No-Shows
A no-show occurs when a guest does not arrive for the reservation and does not cancel or reschedule before the scheduled start time.
- No-shows are charged the full reservation amount.
- No refund, credit, or reschedule is owed for a no-show.
- Failure to bring required identification, required boater safety documentation, or required payment verification may be treated as a no-show or late cancellation.
4. Late Arrivals
Guests should arrive early enough to complete check-in, waivers, safety briefing, life jacket fitting, boater requirement review, and departure instructions.
- Late arrivals may lose ride time.
- Reservations may not be extended because a guest arrives late.
- If a guest arrives too late to safely complete the ride, the reservation may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
- Late arrivals for sunset rides may lose additional time because all rides must stay within the legal operating window.
5. Weather-Related Cancellations
Englewood Jet Ski may delay, reroute, reschedule, credit, or cancel a ride when weather, water, visibility, lightning, wind, marine traffic, or local conditions create a safety concern.
- If Englewood Jet Ski cancels a ride before departure because conditions are unsafe, guests may choose to reschedule, receive a booking credit, or receive a refund to the original payment method.
- If a safe later time is available the same day, Englewood Jet Ski may offer a delayed departure.
- A forecast showing possible rain or storms does not automatically cancel a reservation.
- Light rain alone does not automatically cancel a ride if conditions remain safe.
- Guests should not assume a ride is canceled unless Englewood Jet Ski confirms the cancellation.
6. Weather Changes After Departure
If weather changes after a rental or tour has already started, Englewood Jet Ski may modify the route, pause the ride, reduce speed, return guests to the launch area, or end the ride early.
- If less than half of the scheduled ride time is completed and Englewood Jet Ski ends the ride early for unsafe weather, guests may receive a prorated booking credit or reschedule option.
- If half or more of the scheduled ride time is completed, the ride may be considered substantially completed.
- No refund or credit is owed when a ride ends early because a guest ignores staff instructions, leaves the approved area, delays return, rides recklessly, or creates a safety issue.
7. Guest Cancellations Because of Forecasts
Coastal Florida weather can change quickly. Rain chances, cloud cover, or a general forecast of possible thunderstorms do not automatically mean a rental or tour will be canceled.
- Guests who cancel because of a forecast are subject to the standard cancellation window.
- If conditions are safe at the scheduled time and the guest does not arrive, the reservation may be treated as a no-show.
- Guests concerned about weather should contact Englewood Jet Ski before the scheduled arrival time.
8. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to availability, weather, staffing, equipment, daylight, and operating conditions.
- Guests may request to reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Same-day rescheduling is not guaranteed.
- Englewood Jet Ski may offer rescheduling when weather or safety conditions prevent the original ride from operating.
- Booking credits must be used for available rentals, guided rides, or tours offered by Englewood Jet Ski.
9. Booking Credits
When a booking credit is issued, the credit may be applied toward a future Englewood Jet Ski rental, guided ride, or tour.
- Booking credits are not cash.
- Booking credits are not transferable unless Englewood Jet Ski approves the transfer.
- Booking credits may not be combined with other discounts or promotions unless approved.
- Booking credits expire 12 months from the original reservation date.
10. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method whenever possible.
- Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment processor, card issuer, bank, or booking platform.
- Service fees, booking fees, processing fees, or third-party platform fees may be non-refundable when those fees are charged by an outside provider.
- Englewood Jet Ski is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, or payment processors.
11. Group Reservations and Private Tours
Group reservations, private guided rides, special event bookings, and multi-jet-ski reservations require more scheduling, equipment planning, and staff coordination.
- Group and private reservations may require longer cancellation notice.
- Deposits for group reservations or private tours may be non-refundable if canceled less than 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Rescheduling group or private reservations is subject to guide availability, equipment availability, weather, and daylight.
- If a group arrives with fewer guests than originally booked, the original reservation amount may still apply.
12. Failure to Meet Boater Requirements
Guests are responsible for reviewing and meeting all boater requirements before arrival.
- No refund is owed when a guest cannot ride because they failed to bring required identification.
- No refund is owed when a guest cannot operate because they failed to complete required boater safety education or temporary certificate requirements.
- No refund is owed when a guest refuses to complete the safety briefing, waiver, rental agreement, or staff instructions.
- Englewood Jet Ski may allow the guest to ride as a passenger or reschedule when practical, but this is not guaranteed.
13. Refusal of Service for Safety Reasons
Englewood Jet Ski may refuse service or stop a ride when a guest creates a safety concern.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
- Suspected impairment by alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication.
- Reckless, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
- Failure to follow staff or guide instructions.
- Failure to wear a life jacket or attach the safety lanyard.
- Leaving the approved riding area.
- Harassing wildlife or entering restricted areas.
- Operating in a way that endangers guests, staff, equipment, wildlife, property, or other waterway users.
No refund is owed when service is refused or a ride is ended because of unsafe guest behavior.
14. Equipment, Mechanical Issues, and Operational Changes
Englewood Jet Ski may delay, substitute, reschedule, credit, or refund a reservation if equipment or operational issues prevent the scheduled ride from taking place.
- If a replacement jet ski or safe alternative is available, Englewood Jet Ski may offer that option.
- If no safe replacement or reasonable alternative is available, guests may receive a reschedule option, booking credit, or refund.
- Englewood Jet Ski may modify routes, departure times, or tour stops due to equipment, staffing, waterway, safety, or operational conditions.
15. Route, Wildlife, and Experience Changes
Guided rides and tours may include planned routes, sightseeing areas, wildlife-viewing opportunities, sunset timing, sandbar stops, shark tooth areas, or other local highlights. These features are subject to safety, weather, tide, wildlife activity, visibility, waterway access, and guide judgment.
- No wildlife sighting is guaranteed.
- No sunset view is guaranteed.
- No shark tooth, shell, fossil, or sandbar result is guaranteed.
- Route changes made for safety or operating conditions do not automatically qualify for a refund.

To request a cancellation or reschedule, contact Englewood Jet Ski before your scheduled reservation time.
- Include the name on the booking.
